Yocha Dehe Farm & Ranch

Yocha Dehe takes great pride in being stewards of the land for the 6,200 acres currently being farmed. We strive to use fewer pesticides and water to minimize the environmental impact on the land their ancestors farmed centuries ago.

We have more than a dozen crops in rotation, including almonds, walnuts, olives, grapes, wheat, safflower, oat hay, all grain forage, alfalfa and sunflowers. Also, in an effort to conserve water, there is a retention pond at the bottom of the fields to catch irrigation water that is returned to the top of the field for reuse. Learn more about our conscious land stewardship efforts.

Our Tribe strives to use our own crops whenever possible. We produce our own wine from our grape crops, which is available for purchase in the Cache Creek Casino Resort Gift Shop. We are also in the process of creating and distributing our own line of olive oil made from our 60 acres of olive trees. We will sell the rest of the produce to local retailers and distributors.
